Toronto Leaside Wildcats pounce on a depleted Midget B Golden Hawks team to hand them their first regular season defeat.   

Georgina got out to an early lead when Beth fed Brit a pass into the slot to bang the opener home on the blocker side. Just under 3 minutes later Leaside's #76 tied it up on an end to end rush followed up by banging in her own rebound.

Shortly into the 2nd the Wildcats once again pounced to take a 2-1 lead.    

Early in the 3rd Christine captured the equalizer.  35 seconds later the Hawks let #76 complete her second end to end rush to capture the lead 3-1.

With the man advantage in the last 2 minutes Hawks pulled their goalie only to immediately got into penalty trouble. Leaside scored an empty netter to ensure the win. 4-2.

Georgina played with a depleted lineup and not all those in attendance played with the necessary tenacity or effort required to overcome a short bench.    Hawks handed Leaside an easy 2 points.
