We are excited to have you on the roster for the Novice House League Team for the upcoming season.
Here are some of the things that you need to know:
Practices: Your practices begin on Saturday September 8 from 3:30 - 4:30 so get your bag packed & skates sharpened.
Schedule: The best way to keep in the loop regarding the schedule is to download it to your mobile device. This can be done by going onto the NOVICE Team Page, scrolling down to the calendar, and clicking on the word
SUBSCRIBE. There you can follow the instructions and download the NOVICE Team Calendar (or multiple calendars depending on what teams your involved in)
Team Communication: You have a team distribution list
[email protected] that can be used for ongoing communication. Notifications from the website in terms of scores, articles and schedule changes are already set up to go to your email address. If you would like others to be included on this team distribution email address please email
[email protected] the team and additional email address and it will be added.
Games: Games start in October however the game slot will be used in the month of September to get the girls ready so you'll notice that both the Sat and Sun time slots indicate a 'practice' currently. Once we have the schedule from Central York (Aurora) we will update the schedule to reflect the games (times will remain the same)
Volunteers: This is a great opportunity for you to get involved and volunteer. The team will need coaching, training and administrative help. Don't wait for someone else to volunteer. If you are interested please contact our VP of house league Hank Cooper

Spread the Word: We are continuing to look for additional players to continue to fill up the team. If your daughter has friends in the area that might be interested please take the time to reach out. Its a great opportunity for the girls to be active together.
