On October 2nd, 2025, our community gathered together to celebrate Paige’s life and legacy.
We would like to thank The Town of Georgina facility staff, Rev. Jonathan Dennis of Keswick Presbyterian Church, Miracle Mountain Media Group for the video and live stream, Connors Music for the audio and music, Chloe Corcoran for the beautiful slideshow, James Ion for the screen and video projector as well as The Best Seat in the House for the beautiful framed jersey that will hang in our display case. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the entire hockey community for the outpouring of support following the heartbreaking news of the loss of our beloved Paige Callahan.
Paige was so much more than a remarkable teammate and hockey player—she was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, friend, role model, leader, and coach. She touched countless lives both on and off the ice, and her absence has left a profound void in our hockey family. Paige will forever be remembered in the many ways she inspired and uplifted those around her.
To Paige’s family—we love you and stand with you. Your strength during this difficult time has been nothing short of extraordinary. Paige was a beautiful soul who, even in her passing, gave the gift of life. Through her selfless decision to be an organ donor, she has saved lives by donating her heart, pancreas, liver, and kidneys. Her heart, in particular, represents only the second resuscitated heart in Canada to be successfully donated—and the very first at St. Michael’s Hospital. This incredible legacy ensures that Paige will continue to make a difference in the lives of others. We love you,
Paige, and we will carry your memory with us always. On Thursday, October 9th at 6 pm, Paige's U18 team will honour her at their Home Opener game.
