Georgina Girls Hockey Program

Welcome to Georgina Girls Hockey Association(GGHA)!  We have been providing hockey programs for girls ages 6-17 in Georgina Ontario since 1994.  As part of the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) our programs provide girls of different ages and abilities the opportunity to learn, play and compete in Canada’s national sport.

Players not only learn to master new skills like skating and puck control, they learn about teamwork, make new friendships, improve their fitness, build self-esteem, and most of all, they have FUN!  There is no body checking allowed in girls hockey.

Our House League divisions include U9 (Born 2015-2017), U11 (Born 2013-2014), U13 (Born 2011-2012), U15 (Born 2009-2010), and U18 (Born 2006-2008).  No previous hockey experience is necessary.

For the 2023/24 season, we are also offering REP hockey at the U11, U13, U15 and U18 levels.

The season runs from September to March.  Most house divisions typically have 2 ice times per week which are scheduled on weekends.  There are no before-school ice times.  Special, skill development sessions are also provided to both players and goalies.  Rep. hockey will have a higher level of training and commitment.

Registration is open from late May to August, so please register early to avoid being on a waiting list.  To register, go to the Registration tab at the top of this page.
