Update for parents/caregivers
We have been working with the Town of Georgina and because of the hard work of the GGHA Executive and Members over the last three weeks to ensure the safety of all and following all the protocols, they will now allow us to admit one

We have been working with the Town of Georgina and because of the hard work of the GGHA Executive and Members over the last three weeks to ensure the safety of all and following all the protocols, they will now allow us to admit one parent or guardian per player for all age groups to watch games, to a maximum of 50 people. This will begin this Saturday, October 17th, as we begin games. One parent or guardian will be permitted to watch games to a maximum of 50 people in any zone at one time.  At this time viewing team practices is not permitted. Protocols for U9 & U11 teams remain unchanged at this time.  Please be aware that the maximum of 50 people, including players, staff, Ref's, Timekeeper and parent/guardian will occur and will be adhered to.  We recommend that if a player has a staff member on the bench that this is the one accompanying them.

After the players enter the arena, you will wait outside at the entrance to the arena and the arena staff will advise you when you can come into the arena as a group. Everyone must be there at that time.  If you are not present you will not be able to enter separately.  The staff will direct you to the stands.  When required the arena staff will ask you to leave the arena and the players will join you outside.  These are requirements to keep the number of people in the area within the 50 as teams before and after are leaving or arriving at the arena.  Please note that the Town is unable to allow re-entry into the building and we ask that you stay in the stands while you are in the arena.  At this time the lobby is to remain vacant.

When checking in on your Team Ramp app and signing the Covid check in, you click on the event and scroll down to select "Spectators" and note the name of the person that will be entering the arena for that event.  Once the Covid form is signed it is confirming this information for both people.

We hope that this is positive news and that everyone will work together to make this work so that we can continue to enjoy our girls playing hockey.

Remember that these rules and protocols can change at any time.
