Hockey is Back!!!
Hockey is Back! Effective January 31, 2022 we can expect hockey to resume and are moving ahead on this basis. We continue to await direction from OWHA on any restrictions but wanted to provide as much information to you as possible at this time.
Town of Georgina
As per the Provincial announcement, facilities are able to reopen at 50% capacity effective January 31st 2022. The Town of Georgina Covid protocols are attached for your reference and communication.
NEW - Town of Georgina will now be responsible for contact tracing and screening of every participant entering the facility, along with vaccination checks which were in place prior to the recent closure. All persons will be required to fill out the online screening form on the day of their arrival. Facility Screeners will be at the entrance of the facilities verifying that the form has been completed prior to entering. If the individuals have not completed the online form, they will be asked to do so at the entrance. This electronic form is also QR code driven and will be posted at entrances for scanning upon arrival.
