Midget BB, 2016-2017, REP (Georgina Girls Hockey Association)

Georgina tied game 3-3 with 55 seconds left in the third period. Game then went to a 10 minute 3 on 3 overtime. Still 3-3 end of fourth. Each team then got 2 goals in a sudden death shoutout, but the Sharks got a lucky break on their fourth shot on net.  Georgina took home the tournament silver for the second time this season. Congratulations girls!

Congratulations to the Georgina Golden Hawks Midget BB for winning silver at the Clarington Applefest Tournament. It was a very close game 4-3 against the Whitby Wolves.

A great time was had by all players and family that attended our first team social function and pot luck dinner. We are all excited about starting a new hockey season. What better way than to kick off the season with some Olympic style games, being that 2016 is an Olympic year. Please visit us often for updates on our team. GO HAWKS!!!
