Bantam B Hawks Win a Pair
The Bantam B Georgina Golden Hawks won a pair of games over the weekend.

The Hawks hosted a trio of games over the weekend.

The girls hosted the Orangeville Tigers on friday night.  The girls jumped out in front on a first period goal and managed to hang on for the shutout win.  Hailey made a number of stellar saves en route to the victory.

Saturday saw the girls host the North York Storm and exploded for 4 goals including an empty netter to seal the victory.  Emma played a key part in the win with 3 points!

On Sunday the Orillia Hawks visited and spoiled the perfect weekend with a 2 to 1 victory.  The Golden Hawks fell behind by a pair heading into the 3rd period when Orillia took a penalty.  The girls scored with 1 second left on the man advantage to narrow the lead to 2 to 1.  The girls managed to get the goalie out but could not tie the game up.

The girls return to action next weekend with a pair of road games and hope to get the wins to get above the 500 mark.
